Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a pair of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter-sized hail and damaging winds in excess of 90 km/h.
At 2:20 PM CDT Doppler RADAR indicated that the first severe thunderstorm was located about 10 km northeast of Vita and was moving toward the northeast at 30 km/h.
At 2:20 PM CDT Doppler RADAR indicated that the second severe thunderstorm was located about 10 km north of Woodridge and was moving toward the northeast at 30 km/h. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
