Manitoba
Area(s): Southern Manitoba
Timing: Saturday afternoon and evening
Threats: 2-3 cm hail, 90 km/h wind gusts, and locally heavy downpours
A stalled cold front will bring scattered showers and non-severe thunderstorms to much of the province beginning Saturday morning. In the south, more intense thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours, where marginally severe hail and wind will be the main threats. Severe activity will diminish by late evening, but showers and isolated non-severe thunderstorms will continue through the night into Sunday.
