Key Lake, a small city in north-central Saskatchewan has been continuously breaking its own cold records throughout the past week. Seen above are the records from February 3rd, which Key Lake set new lowest temperature records everyday. As you can see from the graph below, which depicts temperatures for Key Lake for the month of February, the "warmest" temperature they saw was -37C!! On February 5th, it reached an astounding -47.7C!!
With a current temperature of -36C, Key Lake is set to break another cold record for today of -33.9C set back in 2014. Temperatures should begin to moderate tomorrow for the area.
