Incredibly photogenic supercell this evening in Saskatchewan

8:40 PM CST Saturday 13 July 2019 Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:

  • R.M. of Craik including Craik and Aylesbury

  • R.M. of Dufferin including Bethune and Findlater

  • R.M. of Marquis including Tuxford Keeler and Buffalo Pound

  • R.M. of Sarnia including Holdfast Chamberlain and Dilke

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing baseball sized hail and destructive winds in excess of 120 km/h. At 8:36 PM CST Doppler RADAR indicated that this severe thunderstorm was located about 25 km west of Chamberial and was moving toward the southeast at 30 km/h. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
