3:38 PM CST Monday 25 February 2019 Extreme Cold Warning in effect for areas in red:


Extreme wind chills near minus 40 will redevelop tonight and persist into Tuesday morning. Correction made to regions in this alert. Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes. Dress warmly. Dress in layers that you can remove if you get too warm. The outer layer should be wind resistant. If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside.

3:19 PM CST Monday 25 February 2019 Extreme Cold Warning in effect for areas in red:


Extreme wind chills of minus 40 or colder will develop over parts of southern Saskatchewan tonight and persist into Tuesday morning. Dress warmly. Dress in layers that you can remove if you get too warm. The outer layer should be wind resistant. Keep dry to stay warmer. Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill. If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside.
