Blowing snow Monday night into Tuesday over western Manitoba and the Red River Valley. A cold front will bring blowing snow and strong northwest winds of 40-50 km/h to western Manitoba and the Red River Valley beginning this evening. Blowing snow is expected to diminish Tuesday evening when the winds abate. Visibilities will be reduced to 800 metres or less at times. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
