.DISCUSSION...Portions of southeast Arizona turning into a winter
wonderland with 2-6 inches of snow south and east of Tucson
associated with current winter storm. The upper low responsible
for snow was between Tucson and Nogales moving slowly E. Snowfall
will be tapering off this afternoon as the upper low moves across
Cochise county than into SW NM late this afternoon.Snow is not uncommon to Arizona this time of year due to terrain elevations. However, the sight of cactus and desert landscape being covered by snow is always amazing.
